I just got a Sendero 300 RUM and I'm totally new to the cartridge. I've read some post that indicate it is a freebore cartridge. I'm not sure I totally understnad what free bore is, but this is my undrstanding... freebore is where the throat of the chamber is lengthend to provide a certain amount of space between the bullet and the rifling and one reason for it is to reduce pressures. If I'm wrong please correct me. Any links to diagrams would be great... I'm a picture kind of guy :D OK, based on the above, how should I seat my bullets? My philosophy in general has been to seat them just off the lands. Some bullets, like TSX's and E-Tips like a little more of a jump. Some bullets, like VLD's seem to like touching or seated into the lands. Would like to hear what you 300 RUM loaders are doing. I'm planning on trying out... 180 E-tips 177 GS HV's 180 TTSX's 180/200 AB's 210 Bergers/JLK's Your experience and advice is greaty appreciated as well as any other 300 RUM knowledge. Thanks in advance, Mark
