Ranch owners, Wyoming Gents, myself and my 2 Officers with one civilian, are looking to hunt Antelope in WY this year, any chance one of you would host us?
There would be 4 of us looking around October when we get a break.

I would be responsible for them we are all over 40, with each 20 years plus of service so we are older with common sense.

    Thanks

i don't have a ranch to host you or I would try. Lost a lot of our antelope where I hunt in NW Wy. Take look at a good map of WY. Draw a circle around Casper 50 or so miles out. Any public land not in the mountains will hold antelope. Look for good sized areas of BLM with access. Needs to have a public [ county or state] road to it so you can legally hunt there. Be there a day or two before the season opens. You should get your antelope. Good luck. Bruce

My family owns land north of Gillette, Wy & as stated before, the antelope numbers went down the toilet last year. We went from scouting numbers of 100+ to numbers in the teens & low twenties!! NO BS. I really hope we can start to turn it around... Do you have any ideas on where you would like to hunt? What type of lodging do you need?

As a former Military member myself I would LOVE to host you guys, I live further west than the Gillette guys, but we have good numbers and better trophy quality (no offence to you east side guys) I kill 4-6 antelope per year including 2 bucks usually high 70's+ and am confident I can get you all bucks in the mid to high 70's Drawing over here is a little harder but if your interested send me an email to michaelnewton83@gmail.com and I can give you some ideas of places you may want to apply and When hunting season comes around ill take you guys out. Let me know

I take full responsibility for that, it took WAY longer than I anticipated to get my out of state hunters "squared away". An antelope hunt that usually takes 4-6hrs took almost 4 DAYS!!

I will have to try a little harder this year

SLOAN, appreciate it, Thanks for the thought, the 3 of us just love to shoot and hunt, soon we will all retire, I have been in 23 years and my other 2 have been in near the same, after recent combat tours we all are trying to get back into hunting as much as we can, we are lucky enough to now be stationed were we are able to do so. we are trying to hunt, Antelope, Mule Deer and Elk in the near future. I hunt Deer here where I am but never had the chance to hunt the others.
    But again thank you

    fmrsniper,

Your location says Michigan. You up near grayling or down near Warren or is Michigan your home town? I'd say after hunting deer, your next best exploit is fishing in my home state...
