So I was up at a gun shop today in PA and the guy showed me rifle he tough I would like.
As stated it was a 276 Pup which turned out to be a .284/6.5 Rem Mag, on a 700 SA Remmy w/ sako extractor and looked to be trued. The rifle was light weight maybe 7 lbs w/ scope and was sporting a 26" barrel. It had loaded ammo w/ notes and dies though they were not there at the time, and came w/ a 3X9 Swaroski scope. $1300 cash.
I did briefly think about buying it thinking to myself rechamber to the SAUM

well I ended up buying this rifle. It has a MPI pillar bedded stock, Kreiger 26"
#2 barrel, fully trued 700 w/ sako extractor, and as I mentioned the 3x9 Swaroski scope and dies. Just could not pass it up, I was wrong on the weight w/ the scope it weighs right at 8 lbs. Now to decide weather to keep it as the 276 Pup or rechamber to the 7mm SAUM or 7mm WSM.
