I have a stock Tikka 270 win. with a bushnell 4x-12x scope. Accuracy with most bullets is 1 inch or less (couldn't get barnes under 1.5) at 100 yards. I got some sierra 90g hp bullets from a friend and did some load development. 55.5g of imr 4350 shot 3 at .6 inches. Loaded a bunch more at 55.5g and most 5 shot groups have all bullets touching. Is there a reason the 90 g bullets shoot so well? 140g SST bullet shoots almost as well. What can I do to get the 140's to do as well as the 90's?
