I'm thinkin' you'll see velocity spreads even with the H Extreme powders. I'd also think that H-1000 is a bit slow for the 270 Win. I load for 3 different 270 Wins. Two with 22" barrels and one w/a 27" Lilja. I put 57.5 gr of RL-22 in the short barrelled ones, and they shoot 140 Bergers really well. My chono toasted so I don't know the MV. For the Lilja barrel I load 58.5 gr of RL-22 and 140 Hornady BTSPs for 3200 fps. FWIW.
