Funny I have recently got a 7 rem mag and was thinking of rebarreling or rechambering. I had originally thought of a 7 stw but read the article on the 7-300 win that has me thinking. Then I thought of using those wildcat 169.5 270 and making a 270 stw or possibly a 270 x 300 win mag since the 7x 300 is getting close to the 7 stw. Im very interested in the outcome of your project. If you go to reloaders nest and look at the 270 stw I think it will give you close to what velocities you should get, pay attention to the barrel lengths for accurate velocites. Keep us posted
