I finally bought a PCP air rifle. The first thing I did was spray paint the ugly *** stock (wood), then put a cheap *** simmons scope on it. I was going to put a 6.5-20X50 Mark4 that I have laying around, but I couldn't find rings to fit it, and I wanted to get to shooting it, so it gets the cheapo for now. It pushes the 30.6gn Beeman Kodiak pellets at 800fps, and they seem to work pretty good. Real accuracy testing will come later, as the junk tube on top prohibits it.

Benjamin Marauder 25cal, MSRP is around $500, but you can find it for under $450. Go to Crosman's website for specs, here: Crosman | Airguns | Rifles | PCP | Marauder Rifle (.25)

There are alot of good guns out there, but you'll be hard pressed to beat the marauder without going over $1000. If money is no object, look at Edgun, FX, Falcon, and Daystate. I particularly like the Daystates, but I have a hard time spending that kind of money on an air rifle.

The Webley Raider is a decent gun as well.

i had a .25 cal marauder.loved it.but i had to send it back.such an airhog but thing was dead accurate and could put a smack down :) for the few weeks i had it i put down a ground squirrel with a heart lungshot at 117 yards . missed one by an inch headshot at 137. boy i sure do miss it /: and i reccomend the marauder all the way (;
