what is the real b.c. of the berger target or hunting vld in 25 cal, i keep reading .523 but it states .466 on bergers web site ???, if it is really .466 than i wont switch from my 115 nosler bt at .453

It is .466 A few years ago Berger changed their BCs. IIRC Bryan Litz did his field testing and Berger corrected the BCs on their bullets.

As for sticking with the Nosler....the bearing surface on that 115 VLD is quite short. I found I could get the VLD to go significantly faster than the 115 Nosler. That 115 VLD is pure poison on deer sized game and even works well on elk.

There are four of us who have 257 Weatherby semi customs with turreted rifles. We have a combined total of 17 coues wt, 3 mule deer AND 5 elk. Several friends borrowed the rifles to add to this count.
