Even though the fur market is not very good now, i like to skin the really good ones i get and make rugs out of them. The only one i have ever shot with the 2506 that was worth skinning was a big male dog that i caught going straight away from me once.....gave him the ole texas heart shot with a 117 gr nosler......couldnt even find a hole in his hide! bullet was longed in the vertabrea in his neck....
