We recently loaded the 70g Hammer Hunter with rl15.5. We got to 3850 fps without pressure. Basically where we ran out of case space. It may not be fast enough for the 55g, but worth a try if you can find some.

Thx! Ramshot Hunter has been terrific with Hammers. Load data shows 55BT over 4K and since it is nice fine ball powder, thinking it just might interesting to see where 55HH tops out.
I have couple more Hammer ladders with Hunter that hopefully top out where I think they will.
Hunter powder seems to be readily available, provides great case density, temp stab is be aware to adjust if cold temp load versus warmer months. No different than other non temp stable powders. At least until thus statement.
Between gun season and dang snow, might be awhile before shooting!
