.243 twist

Screech, go with a 1-9 twist for the 105's and 107 VLD Bullets. You could go with a 1-10 twist, and you could shoot the 75grn and 87grn V-max's as well as the 105 and 107 type bullets. But if you just plan on shooting the 105 and 107 bullets, then go with the 1-9 twist.

the amaxs require a 1-9.

wildcat the 87 vmaxs will shoot out of a 1-9 as well. you would be pushing things trying to stabilize the 105 out of a 1-10

I have an 8 twist Rock/ABS 6-284. It will stabilize the 87 gr. V-Max but blew up the 105's at 3300 fps. 107 SMK shoot very well and don't blow up. Don't know what this means to you but a little less velocity would sure help the A-Max as it shot extremely well in my rifle when it didn't turn to smoke.

My border barrel 24".243win 1in10 would not stabilise 105's @ 2980fps.

Just changed to 1in8 26" 87gr @ 3150 are OK.

105 and 107's OK up to 3030fps so far

115 bergers are just stable @ 2961fps

The bergers are on the edge but very accurate in my gun
