For sale is a custom built 243 Ackley Improved. The gun was hand built by Doyle at dixie gun works. The action is a Stiller Tac 30. The barrel is a 8 twist, # 4 weight Krieger . The stock is a beautiful hand built laminated stock with an adjustable cheek piece. Triger is a jewel set at 1#. It has Remington bottom metal. The muzzle break is a sliencerco ASR. The gun is cerakoted black. $3000. Scope and rings are not included but can be bought as an add on. Also available as an add on is 100 pieces of fire formed lapua brass, redding dies, and hornady bullets. The bipod is also not for sale it was just for pictures

Weight and length of barrel?

It is a #4 weight Krieger. I'm pretty sure its 26" I would have to measure to make 100% certain

Total weight of the gun i really am not sure. Not a feather weight but not a heavy gun

Just an update. This rifle weighs in at (best I can tell using bathroom scales) 9.5 lbs with a the nightforce and steel rings. The barrel is 26" if needed i can get a better weight this weekend

Its got less than 200 rounds through it. First 100 was just to fire form the brass. Its going to be a sub 1/2" gun with some tweaking but I haven't finished load development yet. Reason I'm selling is I just don't get to shoot it. I'll see if I have a target laying around still
