was thinking of giving Retumbo and 4350 a try. Shooting 115 DTACS.

thoughts....

this is what I found online...

115 GR. (Starting Loads)
DIA. .243
COL: 2.825"

RETUMBO 47.0 2711 43,200 CUP

115 GR. (Maximum Loads)
DIA. .243
COL: 2.825"

RETUMBO 50.0C 2878 49,000 CUP

I was curious what twist you're shooting, I have a barrel on the way with a 1:8 twist and was planning on shooting the 105gr Berger VLD because I wasn't counting on being able to stablize the 115 DATC. Sorry I can't help you with load info my book doesn't list the 243 AI.

Sendero,
I havent tried the Retumbo in my 243AI yet, but I have been thinking of trying it like yourself. I'm shooting the 107 sierra's in front of 45 gr Reloader 22. I have tried the 4350, and I couldn't get it shoot very well at all. I would sure be interested in knowing how your Retumbo loads work out.

I am shooting 48.5 of RL25 right now. It is doing good...

Am maybe thinking Retumbo will be to slow...

Think I'll go load some 7828, MRP or MRP2. Was told they might work well too.

I have had my best luck with around 46gr vv560 the 115s and WLRs, but that rl25 load looks interesting in quickload.

Just for your info..

Just got off the phone with Superior Shooting.

Tyler informed me the new 6mm polymer tipped bullets will be a 111 grain close to .540 BC bullet.

They will be ready sometime after the SHOT show. No exact delivery date as of yet.

He calulated it out and they will be perfect for the 1 in 8 and should be a better hunting type bullet.

Wait and order them... I am gonna switch to them.

Contact number to talk to David Tubb or Tyler is 1-806-323-9488

Let me know what you do....
