I had a new shooter shoot a couple so I have no data on how accurate the load was. I'm not in a big hurry with these OTMs, as there are 230 gr hybrids (non OTM) listed on the Berger site with a slightly higher BC. I read somewhere they will be released in a couple weeks. If we take one with my RUM and the 230 Bergers I'll definitely fill you guys in. With my small amount of testing there is definitely some potential there. I think Broz had some loads ready to test out on some critters, atleast I read that on a Weatherby forum. Hopefully he will post on the terminal ballistics. here is the link

http://www.weatherby.dk/showthread.php?6279-The-New-30-cal-Berger-230-gr-Tactical-OTM-Hybrid/page2

[QUOTE="youngbuck, post: 556011, member: 22987"] New Shooter, are you sure that's what your loading for 230gr? sounds like data for a lot lighter bullet. I loaded some up from 83-85gr H-1000 around 20 thou off the lands. I just shot a few 83 & 83.5 gr charges. Primers were flat, but I still have room to go I think. I was shooting 12x12 steel @ 400yds with POI and drop from my 208 A-max load. Every hit was on steel. I had a new shooter shoot a couple so I have no data on how accurate the load was.
