I've been wanting to have a fast 22 cal for a while now and think this round may be the route for me to go. I'm just curious to hear from any 22-250 AI owners about experience with the round. I'd like to use the 75 Amax primarily. Is a 1:8 good or would a 1:7 be better?

Thanks in advance!

I have one, 28" VSSF conour without the flutes with 1:14" twist. I know, should've gone faster, but, this is primarily my varmint gun, so 50/55gr bullets get the job done.
I like how long the brass lasts, no trimming and is very accurate.

Goid luck with it if you decide to get one. I love mine!!

Cheers.

I have a 1:9 Benchmark barrel and am shooting 70 gr VLDs with no problem. First coyote season with it and the long shot of the year was 708 yards. Couldn't be happier with the rifle.
