If you want a good varmint bullet with good BC and expansion combined, the 105grn A-Max is the best bullet for long range varminting. The 105grn A-Max expands very well for a VLD bullet.

Doing some reading here and got a quick question. i have a savage 12 in 22-250 staggered feed. by chance is the head size of the 22-250 and 6br the same? can one change barrels and not bolts?

Yes they have the same rim diameter.

I love my 250 but for 500+ yd varminting the BR is the much better choice..It'll thump em.
