[QUOTE="goat2244, post: 551088, member: 22769"] This was a really fun hunt. Come to find out, a co-worker of mine drew the same tag as I did so I had the opportunity to hunt with a partner on this one. We got in touch with a land owner that let us hunt for $100. He marked off 10 sections that we had free reign to. Everyone we talked to was more than glad to give us advice and point us in the right direction. Though we did find out that killing an antelope is a lot harder than some would let you believe. Everyone we talked to said it was as easy as driving until you see some then get out and shoot one. Every time we did see a group they were usually about a mile away and would take off running if you tried to get any closer in the truck. We finally (after a full day of trying) found a couple of does in a position that we could make a stalk on. I spotted them from about a mile and a half away so we loaded up and drove around behind them and got within about 800 yds before we left the truck. We were lucky enough to find a wash out that gave us just enough cover to crawl within 500 yds of the them so that we could get a shot. I took the first shot and put mine down at 500 yds. It wasn't until later in the day that my buddy shot his. His came running down a draw right to him and he shot her at 120 yds. Overall we had a great time. I really wish this wasn't a once in a lifetime tag. First picture is mine second is my buddy.
