2005 Remington 700 Classic 308

Thomas...Remington classics are nice and the 308 is a very excellent caliber choice...just keep your expectations "realistic" and you should be happy...

I have been using a 30-30 for years. It's a nice rifle. I think a 308 would be a nice addition moving up. Any scope suggestions for this gun? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

...I would choose a Leupold VX-III in a low variable, ideally the 3.5-10x40 or 50mm obj...maybe with the Boone & Crocket reticle if it appeals to you... this would really compliment such a nice classic rifle... hope this helps...
