20 or 40 moa bases

I'm trying to decide which nightforce bases would be best for my situation. (20 or 40 moa) I have a Sendero 300 Rum with a burris 8x32x50. I plan on taking 100 to 1200 yard shots, and don't really know which ones would be best for me.
This is my first post! Been a member for a few months but just been reading post. Thanks for the help

Chances are that the 20 MOA base will work. You might not get a 100 yard zero with the 40 MOA. How much total MOA does your scope have?
