1st Post......Building a 1000yrd RUM???

The corner of my neighbors house is plumb with a 4' carpenters level. At 100 yds. I run the vertical up and down 30 feet of the edge of the house. If my math is correct and my reticule is off by 2.5 inches at 1,000 yds. I'd say it is pretty accurate. I still can't see how I could twist the scope in the rings to correct the 2.5 inches at 1,000 yds.

I think this may be spin drift and not a cant issue.

Crab---Please be patient because 1K shooting can frustrate the inexperienced shooter to no end! You may have a .4 10shot group at 100 and at 1K not even be able to keep them all on the target. Reading Condition and the little things are what make shooting at distance either rewarding or frustrating to no end!

Am anxious to see your results and good luck…
X2.

1000yds can frustrate the hell out of even very experienced shooters.

Out to about 600, it's just a matter of Marksmanship. Beyond that life gets complicated.
