Depending if you hunt with a bow or a rifle in most places. In 170 days I will be deep in elk crounty. How about you? I am already starting to hear the big bulls in my day dreams.....yeeeehaaaaaaawwwwww

addicted

Glad I am not the only one that counts down the days!! Been hunting elk for over 30 years and I still get excited anticipating the hunt.

Oh I drive myself freaking crazy. I hunted a spot last year that I have been looking over for awhile and called in 25 bulls. Each day I woke up shaking with excitement.

I need to get back to flinging arrows and put the LR rifle down. Problem is I can't leave that rifle alone......I am obsessed with it too.

Couple of crappy little video's. I was using a go pro camera and it does not work well for this. I was learning to edit and just experimenting with the whole process. I even started drawing my bow on the smaller bulls for the practice and see how it looked on camera. My main goal was to do some vids for the kids and Ami so when I got home they could share the adventure. Like I said, they kind of suck but are semi fun to watch I guess.

Cool video, looks like you shoot a switchback? My bow of choice also. That answers the question my buddy and I had on how those cameras work as were thinking about getting a couple for our trip to Wy. in Sept. Thanks for shareing.

It's a Drenalin. Similar of course.

The best filming is done with a camera guy. I have been on professionally filmed hunts where the camera guy is working his buns off but the footage is amazing comparably. I broke my sony video camera so I resorted to the go pro. It is less than ideal for anything more than close in work. I use mine mainly for racing motorcycles.

I think for 2013 I will get another small video camera and use the go pro as well. It is nice to have different view points if you can get it. I also have two other helmet cams that I might try out. My racing days are limited now so I might put them to better use.

I'm no pro by any stretch, but have filmed a couple of hunts for friends. Turkey and whitetail. There is some work involved, the results are usually worth it. Good luck in your endevors this season.

I like the way you guys are thinking. Counting the days drives me crazy but I am equally obsessed... Good to know I'm not alone. :D
