Finally got the load I wanted using the 140 grain XLC.
    Reloader 22
    Remington brass
    CCI 250 large rifle primers
    66.5 gr.
    OAL 3.303
    Velocity
    3,161 fps
    group. 366"
I wish velocity would of been at 3,200 fps but that 140 gr XLC will put mule deer and Elk into my freezer. I've been enjoying my self with this reloading.

That is my father's favorite bullet in his 6.5-06AI, sure put the smack down on a white tail at 310yds last season. How many do you have left? I believe they do not make them anymore :(

Outlaw6.0 I have 5 1/2 boxes I used to have a 264 winchester magnum that I had stolen. I purchased a few boxes then. I had a nice load 65.5 gr IMR 7828 with my other rifle and it killed Elk mule deer with ease. I like this round because it doesn't heat up my barrel.

I tried to work up a load using 130gr TSX using US869 went to Max at 77 grains and couldn't get past 3,050 fps or groups better then 1/ 1/2. I'm knew to reloading so bought a few reloading manuals to set me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I used to have Alabama ammo reload my ammo before I started. My old rifle was a Ruger M77 with a 26" Barre. My new Rifle is a Weatherby vanguard that I had rechambered to 264 winchester magnum.

When we finish these off I'll probably turn him over to the 127LRX. They should be the cats meow for the Ackley & it's intended uses.
