Does anyone have dope on smooth bore slugs? I can't find anything past 100 yards. I saw a monster buck today right at 200 yards from my tree stand. He had about six does stashed close by in the woods while he was putting on a SHOW about 20 feet into a pasture, stamping and snorting and charging in and out of the woods. I guessing he lost a few does back when he crossed the pasture and didn't know how to round the whole herd back up. After about 15 minutes he dragged them all back where they'd started from. I had SO many perfect opportunities to lace this big stud, but I have NO dope on a smooth bore 12. Ga..

check nikons website thay ae a ballistics program that might have your slugs in it

Go to the Federal site and they have a downloadable ballistics program for slugs.

Try to find the BC of your slug and MV and then compare it to a Fed slug.

My guess would be with a 100 yd zero, 1500 fps and you will be somewhere around 20-24 inches.

My 20 ga 3" fed tipped Barnes expanders are just under 14" low at 200.
