[QUOTE="wasgas, post: 348987, member: 21357"] If anyone is on a budget and wanted a long range scope at a great value then look at the BSA Platinum 6-24X44 target scope for about $150 bucks. I have been shooting this scope for three years now on my Rem 700 Sendero 270win and it is always dead on. I have shot approximately 600 hundred rounds thru it and never had it bumped off of Zero. I shoot it anywhere from 300-1,000 yards and the turrests always return to Zero. The scope is clear and crisp for the price and I can use it as a spotter out past 200 yards when sighting in other rifles. For a cheap target scope it works great, I don't recomend it for hunting simply as it's optics don't work as well during low or intense sun light conditions. With that said I have actually used this scope to take two deer and one elk, both deer were late morning, and the elk was at last shooting light with the sunset to my back. Hope this can help get someone into long ranges without breaking the bank. Adjustmenst are in 1/8" incriments not 1/4".
