This Weatherhawk Skymaster SM-28 was my very first wind meter. I misplaced it and bought a Kestrel 3500  wind meter. Found this one years later in my basement and have been using it since the 2011 season. Same quality as Kestrel 3500 for less money. I prefer the jacknife style of folding case that the Weatherhawk Skymaster SM-28 uses. If you don't need the altitude & air pressure functions buy the WeatherHawk WM-100 model from us for much less cost.    --  Len Backus, LRH owner

The jackknife case gives you the most accurate measurements--your hand doesn't heat it up.The barometer is easy to re-set  Skymaster can be tripod mounted also. SM-28 wind meters are really accurate and come with a 2-Year warranty.
