The Sitka Dew Point Jacket is an extremely lightweight and packagle waterproof shell made of 2-way stretch Gore-Tex fabric. The Dew Point Jacket is designed with a minimalist approach to keep the weight and bulk down as much as possible. The Sitka Dew Point Jacket features a nice hood with built-in visor and elastic adjustment cord. The cuffs feature simple velcro adjustments. A single vertical chest pocket along with large zippered side pockets are handy. The side pockets have a mesh interior and double as large pit-zips for venting built-up heat.

This jacket is nothing short of amazing. I purchased the jacket, along with the Sitka Stormfront pants, gloves and gaiters, primarily to take along on a fly-in caribou hunt in northern Alaska. I couldn't have chosen better gear. The jacket is lightweight, yet very durable. The articulated elbows and pit-zips also kept me comfortable. Because it is constructed of Gore-Tex, it is waterproof and breathable as well. The outer fabric does not absorb or hold water like many other hunting jackets, which made it ideal for the wet conditions I faced for 8 days in the tundra. After spending many days in the rain, I simply shook the jacket off and it was ready for another day. My father brought a high-end hunting jacket manufactured by a competitor and the Sitka jacket was far superior. He was very envious, to say the least. If you're looking for a bombproof jacket that handles all the conditions, look no further. I have tested many products for W.L. Gore and this is by far my favorite hunting jacket. Way to go Sitka!!
