The Eberlestock M5 Team Elk pack was designed for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to be a fantastic all-around hunting pack. At 3100 cubic inches, the Eberlestock Team Elk pack works great as a day pack, but can also handle several days worth of gear and is sturdy enough to haul out a load of meat. The Team Elk pack is relatively narrow which is great for sneaking through timber and brush. It is only Eberlestock's second pack to include both a built-in rifle scabbard and a built in bow-carrier (X1A1 is the other).

M5 Team Elk

The main compartment on the Eberlestock M5 Team Elk pack has both a cinch-top access and a large front zippered access panel. Inside the main compartment are four elastic-topped stash pockets built into the sides and back along with a zippered mesh pocket built into the back of the zippered access panel. On either side of the main compartment are vertical pockets with top zipper access sized to accept a 2 or 3 Liter Hydration system or spotting scope. On either side of these vertical pockets are cinch-top pouch pockets.

The Eberlestock M5 Team Elk pack's top flap includes a large zippered compartment plus a smaller fleece lined compartment for glasses or small electronics. The Team Elk pack's bottom flap incorporates a zippered pocket where the zippered flap can be folded out of the way when the pocket is used as a bow-carrier similar to a Butt-Bucket. The M5 includes the Ripcord Tether used to lash your bow to the top of the pack while giving you the ability to quickly remove your bow with the pack still on your back.

The Eberlestock M5 Team Elk pack's scabbard is sized similar to their wide military/tactical scabbard on top with the narrower hunting-sized bottom (rifle must be carried muzzle down). The Team Elk pack's scabbard is the first to include a zippered top allowing it to be used like a typical storage compartment when not carrying a rifle (the bottom of the scabbard folds up into the pack when not in use). The zipper flap on the top of the scabbard can be folded out of the way when carrying a rifle.

M5 Team Elk

The M5 Team Elk pack is the first Eberlestock pack to feature a tubular aluminum frame with a bottom shelf offering body-following countours, comfort and stability while also being rugged enough to haul a large load of game at the end of the hunt. The Team Elk pack's harness system is vertically adjustable for different torso lengths and features excellent padding and ventillation. The waist belt features range-finder pockets on either side.

Great pack! Holds my rifle with a bipod too is no problems and bow perfect. High quality material fits great! Can get more than enough stuff in for one day and could make it work for a 2-3 day outting for sure.

Accurate information on the website and same price as all other websites plus the free gift was of good quality. Shipping was fast and package arrived in great condition. I would recommend Long Range Hunting for future purchases. Oh, and the pack is awesome.

I just got this pack for a hunt next fall!! By far it is well thought out!!!

I can get all my shooting stuff in it & use it as a range pack or get it loaded for all my hunting stuff for a day trip!!!!

I think it would even work as a short 2-3 day pack also, as long as you take just what you really need!!

It is definitely a good value & investment!!!

I added the butt protector & some tie straps to mounts exterior items to!!!!

Very comfortable on, even packed with 60lbs of gear!!!!

No I don't intend on packing that much + my 15lb rifle, but nice to know it can!!!!!
