Badlands Monster review by Andy Backus of the Long Range Hunting Store:
The Badlands Monster Fanny pack is the most technically advanced hunting-specific fanny pack you will find. The guys at Badlands pulled out all the stops in creating the Monster. From state of the art materials to a unique suspension system, the Badlands Monster fanny is designed for the new breed of hard-core, backcountry hunter.

The Badlands Monster fanny pack features a serious set of shoulder straps to help carry the heaviest loads you can cram into it. An integrated mesh bag drops out of the shoulder straps to carry a 35 oz water bladder (sold seperately). No need to carry a traditional water bottle with the Monster, although there are plenty of good spots for one if you prefer.
A unique featuer of the Badlands Monster is called the Flex Frame. A lightweight, yet stiff cable made from a material called Delron, provides the pack with extra rigidity and support avoiding the sagging feeling common with other fanny packs. The Monster's Flex Frame acts like a spring; the more weight you put into it the more tension is placed on the Delron and thus the more it wants to spring back to its original shape.
The Badlands Monster pack's suspension is heavy-duty and the waist belt features multiple densities of foam plus a recess where it contacts your hip bones resulting in the most comfortable ride you've ever experienced in a large fanny pack. The waist belt is also pre-curved and stiffer than traditional fannies giving much more support and carrying capacity.
