I keep trying to post and not long ones and it keeps saying I'm over 420 characters??? Im not. I'll do a couple at a time I guess .

I got my Chessie when I was in Ca.. I got my English Lab pup here about 1.5 yrs. Ago no particular reason. A guy that came into sporting goods store I worked part time a lot walked in one day with a laundry basket full of puppies. Done deal...He had black, yellow , chocolate and Red. I didn't want another dark colored dog. They get hot quicker in the Sun. I paid $600. Buddy got a red one like the dad.

I paid $900 almost 9 years ago for Mt Chessie. A week later same guy comes in with a new in case Glock 20 10mm. Boom. Another $600. English labs have bigger heads, stockier and little heavier than American labs. I don't know anybody around here that raises Chessies. There was one one place where I used to live. Do you have a Chessie or Lab ?

I currently don't have a dog. I've had American and English Labs and years ago a Chessie. Necessity pushed me into cow dogs 20+ years ago. Now I'm trying to move to an area where I can keep a good dog busy on upland and water fowl.
