Reloading Injuries

I pinched my finger under the ram when the lever decided to finish the stroke in its own

I'm surprised that after 44 years reloading I've never done that. All my injuries came from the under side of the die. If you haven't experienced it yet let me warn you. That rock chucker is a finger-mashing-SOB.

That's the same voice that told me not to do it a split second after I did it.

Must be a big cartridge to maim on one end and destroy on the other. That is what my dad always said about my 300 RUM.

Grab extra bandages and put them on the top of your Dies.

I'm worried that I may have given my Die Hep C that I got from a toilet seat at a Taylor Swift concert.

Disinfect with Hoppe's #9 and your good to go.

The best pulse checkR, is a column of primers doing a chain fire liftoff thru the ceiling tile on a Dillon 1050!! Been years but, still memorable highlight to reloading life.Dillon does provide, a steel blast shield that goes over the aluminum stick that holds the primer stack. Think was Speer that made small pistol primer 45ACP's and if 1 of those gets past a Guy's method of gate sorting brass, when Ur loading normal 45ACP large pistol brass at near the 1,000 rds per min level, that's ur , Houston we have a problem, moment.

Yep saw same on RCBS on line, single prime only now. Too old for that kind of thrill.

Is there something particularly desirable about them? Are they still around? I got mine in 2008. I like it a lot but I know there's some sexy presses out there!

I have had mine since the '80s. The old ones, made in the US are made well. I like mine, it has served me well. Some of the "sexy" ones are just gimmicks, some are real good. I am happy with my RC IV
