I have a 30 Nosler on a Stiller Predator with a Proof barrel and SHV scope on it all sitting in a McMillan bedded stock. I've been trying 215 Hybrids, 212 ELD-X, and 200 ELD-X with Retumbo and H1000. Best groups are around .75 and maybe .5 at best a couple times. About 50 rounds shot through it so far, broke in correctly and my reloading techniques are very detailed best that I know of. I also make sure that only 3 shot groups are taken and let it completely cool down after each group is shot in the shade. Any good advice or experience with this similar issue or caliber is appreciated.

More info, what primers, are you jumping your bullets? Whats your OAL with the 215's, what's your FPS,

I just read your post again you have 50 rounds down the barrel with 3 different bullets and 2 powders way to much switching components with only 50 rounds. Pick a bullet you wanna shoot and give it a chance. You have to try different powder charges, different primers and seating depth for just one bullet. That averages 18+ rounds per bullet no way you can test all powder charges, primers and seating depths in just 18 rounds for one bullet.

H1000 at around 80 grains with the 215's at .030 jump gave excellent accuracy and decent speed (2955) 25" barrel

Maybe do an OCW type test with the 215's with H1000

Something like this 78.5, 79, 79.5, 80, 80.5, 81 then fine tune with seating depth or smaller charges like .2 intervals if necessary.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I've been using WLRM primers, trying seating depths between touch to .020 off. Speed has been around 3020 - 3050.

Up in the air as to which is the best choice for a hunting bullet, so any suggestions or experience is appreciated.

I'll try some Fed 215 primers, have 100 of the match and a few hundred of the standard 215. Also have some CCI 250 I might give a try.

My 30 took about 100-150 before she started to shoot lights out. I did the OCW step then moved to testing jump and when I found the jump it shoots bugholes. I also found best accuracy a little lower on the FPS, right around 2900, I was loading up to about 3100 but backed off and found a great load.

I think you will find an accuracy node around 2950 with 215s. I am using Retumbo with 215s but do what 8andbait said and do an OCW with one powder and one bullet.

Any of the three would work. A primer switch can make all the difference in the load just make sure your not switching 2 things at once and your not at max load, drop back and work up

I got lucky with my 30, I picked up the Nosler manual and loaded the accuracy load which was 73gr imr 7828 with WMR primers and 212gr eldx instead of the 210 accubond. I did a seating depth ladder and if I can remember correctly I found the best accuracy jumping .070". Velocity was a little low 2850, but extreme spread and sd were good, so I left it there. Shoots .3" groups
