SOLD/EXPIRED Remington 700 RMEF

90's Remington SS BDL in 300 win mag. This was a banquet gun @ a Va chapter of the RMEF in 1996. It was worked on by Clay Spencer including tuning the old style trigger to 2 1/2 pds, a professional bedding job, and according to the PO it was blueprinted as well. It's engraved on top of the 24" factory bbl backing up the fact that Spencers did the work. Comes with a cheap 4x16 mil dot scope mounted. $625.00 plus actual shipping.

This thing is a hammer! I ran a few patches of wipe out thru it yesterday and decided to drag it along to the range today. I only had time to load 9 shells today before leaving, 3 shells with 3 different charges .2 grs apart. The fowling shot went an inch low, the next two went into one hole. The next 3 shot group shot by my friend went into a one hole group that's 3/4" outside in a horizontal line. The third 3 shot group is another one hole group a dime will cover!
Zero load development. It outshot 4 other 700's today, 2 of which are honest 1/2" or better rifles with alot of time spent working up a load. I was shooting 130 gr Hornady sp's over H4350. Not exactly match bullets or even bullets I'd choose , just what I had on hand.
