I bought this action for a once in a lifetime build that won't happen anytime soon. I would rather someone build a beautiful rifle out of it rather than sit In my safe. The action was built in 1911 from the best I can find but the bolt is not the original. I have all the parts and a good bit of work has already been completed. These are the most sought after Mauser for custom builds and they are getting very hard to find. The action is in over all great condition but has some very very minor pitting in a few areas. Anyone who knows about these will know one like this don't come up very often. Please pm with any questions and I can send more pics if needed. Payment will need to be USPS money order.

Yes it is a large ring Mauser 98. The 1909 Argentine Mauser's are the most sought after military Mauser action for custom builds. This is because the craftsmanship and machining on them was top notch. To the best of my knowledge it was the only military Mauser built with a hinged floor plate so it also involved less work when building a custom. These rifles were build by DWM in Germany for Argentina.

I've chatted with my Mauser nut friend and he mentioned a few things for me to look at in the photos. I'm having him do so also, will get back to you...she does look nice though...i'm looking at a potential 338 Win build with her..Thanks

Sounds good. I do know that a 338 will no fit the standard bolt face but that can be opened up. May also have to do some work on the magazine and bottom of the action to feed the bigger case. It can be done though and if you need any more pics pm me and I will get you whatever pics you need.
