Does anyone have any load data specifically coal or depth? Any luck with them as well? Thanks in advance!!!

I have tried a few with Varget but wasn't getting anything worth continuing at the time. I may continue more but for now it likes the 185s and the 215s.

I've shot a few boxes of them. 44g Varget, Lapua brass, 210M primer, 2.90 OAL for mag fit. Have shot some very good groups with them at various distances and shot a few rounds at 1k, worked well. 2530 fps from a 20" AI.

Rdavis,
You can find reloading data for the .30 caliber 180gr ELITE HUNTER on our website here:http://www.bergerbullets.com/pdf/308-Winchester.pdf
All load data is based on the COAL listed with the data. Load data is conservative and was generated using Quick Load. I would suggest you start your bullet seating depth testing at .015 OFF THE LANDS and work back towards the cartridge case in .005 increments. Any bullet seating depth testing should be done at the lowest powder charge listed for the bullet/powder/cartridge combination you are testing . You can read how bullet seating depth can affect cartridge case powder capacity, pressure, velocity and accuracy here:http://www.bergerbullets.com/effect...coal-and-cartridge-base-to-ogive-cbto-part-1/
and http://www.bergerbullets.com/effect...coal-and-cartridge-base-to-ogive-cbto-part-2/
Once the bullet seating depth accuracy node is found work the load back up slowly checking for pressure signs and accuracy until your highest velocity accuracy node is found. If you find that after your bullet seating depth testing the cartridge will no longer fit or cycle through the magazine box of your rifle. Try our .30 caliber 185gr CLASSIC HUNTER :
