Oregon 2017 antelope

Got my very first antelope this year. Me and my daughter spotted him about 3 weeks ago and went and got him opening day. Great experience having my daughter with me. She loves hunting. It was a 200 yd shot and my rough measurement was about 73

He was 13" tall and 6 1/2" bases

Nice. There is something special about an Oregon antelope. What unit did you get him in? I got mine in Steens.

Lots of private ground and not huge population

Given the winter a pretty awesome find! Congratulations!

Nice!! My wife and I leave Sunday for her first antelope hunt! Hopefully we find her one quick, cuz we're planning on coming home by Thurs. Then my son and I leave Thurs. nite headed back up for his first antelope hunt. Could be a banner week for the Calhoon Clan!!

I just got my first antelope on monday at the steens in OR. 500 yards. Nice job mlb1970. Looks like a great animal. Try the tenderloins on the pellet grill. They were amazing.
