Kestrel 5700 Applied Ballistics

Hi Doc,
Am I correct that there is there are no Elevation & Wind Correction Factor inputs in the Kestrel 5700 and that that elevation correction is made with the Drop Scale Factor?

If so, is there any way to account for an error in windage turrets?

Thanks,
Bill

I still cannot get bullet profiles I have previously purchased.
My new phone is a Moto Z Force Droid.

Has there been a fix for this? Or am I doing something wrong?

When you "Restore Purchases" how many does it indicate are restored in the app?

They do not open when I select custom. It says AB has stopped working. Two prompts
Open app again or send feedback, neither one does anything.

Ok I started a thread on my Kestrel 5700 elite and got one response with a link to this thread. Please help me understand how a kestrel can ADJUST to different environmental conditions if the only info it has is bullet, muzzle velocity, zero range, site height etc.???? If it doesn't have a baseline environmental conditions, how does it adjust. What if my velocity was taken at an extreme elevation and temperature?? It seems important in apps like shooter and applied ballistic app that they have baseline conditions. Please help. I have not customized a curve specific for me yet as I've had some surgeries etc., but I want to understand. Oh and I have both kestrel apps.
Also I have tools available to me like Labrador if that matters. Thank you.

We have the ballistic data, from testing the bullets in our ballistics laboratory. The Kestrel Elite has on board atmospheric sensors which provide the ballistics solver with real time data. The Solver can then provide a firing solution given target data, using the profile.

As long as the shooter has a good 100 yard zero, the Kestrel is capable of providing a solid firing solution given limited errors in the weapon platform.

Thank you for your response. It's just so hammered in my mind a baseline is needed. Sounds like I need to accept it's not.
Last thing, if environmental conditions aren't necessary as a baseline and the current conditions are all that matters, what is purpose of using MV-temp table. It's probably for temp sensitive powders, but I guess if it will help in the overall solution then I will use my Labradar at different temps.
Please realize I like to learn and understand and am not trying to prove anyone wrong. Thank you
