Best muzzle brake for 300 RUM

Who makes the best recoil reducing brake for a 300 RUM ? They're all loud in comparison to no brake, so noise isn't a concern for me. Thanks in advance

Second the beast brakes, they are all I use. Nathans brakes work very well. I have used them on 300wby, 300win and my 28 noslers. The recoil of the rifle comes strait back into you and is very easy to spot hits.

Terminator T3 brakes. They do a great job. The company compares just about every brake made on YouTube.

You might try the Termiator 3. I made a recoil slide and discovered it is hard to beat this one. The others I can beat with my home made models. I also discovered dropping in bullet weight reduces recoil significantly.

I have used quite a few different brakes and concluded that the PK (Pain Killer) is the best. I am at the point now that I will not risk the money to try another on one of my own rifles.

I have both the APA and Beast on my RUMs and they are about equal performance wise but the self indexing Beast looks a lot cleaner and is a lot cheaper too, ~$100 vs $185

I just bought a APA FB gen 2 for a upcoming 338 Edge build. Heard good things. Was going to go Terminator, but they are $300 here in Canada. Not that the FB was cheap at $250.

Anyone have any experience with the brakes that the guys at Snowy Mountain Rifles are producing ? Called them to get a price on installing a Terminator and they claim to have a great product themselves. ( Who would have thought ). The price is right...at $245 installed. Like the local angle...But if its not a great product, totally not worth learning the hard way

The SMR brake is a Lawton knock off and it will not perform at the level of the Beast or any other mentioned here so far.
You can see how the Beast performs next to most of the brakes mentioned and for my money there is nothing better out there right now, it matches the best in recoil reduction but the unique port design puts it over the top!

I shoot an 8lb with scope 300 RUM with a Christensen Arms Ti Slayer brake. Recoil is similar to a 260...no kidding!

I like the APA line as well. Depending on your barrel contour. I run a Micro blended into my Bartlein #3 on one rifle. Installing a second one on a 6.5SS as we speak.

I also run a Badger Thruster on a .300RUM. Not quite as good as the SPA, but on a 13# rifle, is definitely does it's job. Pushing a 230 Hybrid @ 3060 means recoil. But very manageable.
