    Do not anticipate shooting much , at that close of range . But just in case ........................ All these scope questions are centered on a new Marlin .45-70 . I just ordered a peep sight from Midway , in hopes that that may work & I may not have to scope the rifle . Hope not...

    I read , in several places , Bushnell bought Baush & Loamb (sp) . Had not heard they bought Tasco ?????????? My concern with a fixed power 10x scope is that it would be unuseable at close distances ( 25 yards ) , if need arose ? God bless Wyr

    Is the SS made by Tasco ? Heard Tasco was in some financial difficulty ? I am considering the Bushnell , also . I know it is not a tactical scope , but how does the Sightron SII 4 x 12 or the Burris Fullfield II 3 x 9 x 40 compare Thanks , God bless Wyr
