My longest pack out of an bull elk was 18 miles. Used two pack horses. South boundry of Yellowstone Nalt Park. The good ole days of 1998 looking over your shoulder every so often for grizzly s. Well worth the effort. Great 10 day hunt with a good friend. Never saw anyone else while hunting.

I did not see what the accuracy was on any tests (i like 200 yards and 600 yards). Could bullet seating depth be an issue.?? VV N565 and VV N568 could be good powders to try. Stick with FED-215M primers.
Using a 6.5 PRC and 153 grain A-Tips I am 98% sure I could go out to 600 yards from 100 yards in a 10 mile per hour wind with hits on a gallon milk jug. In Wyoming there is always wind.!!
Remington 700 Sendero. 26" barrel. Remington brass, FED-215 primer, Retumbo at 63.0 grains, 143 Hornady ELD-X bullet. Gave good results and accuracy with proper seating depth. Does anyone know of any other brass manufacturerers??
Federal 210M primers, H1000 or Retumbo, 147 ELD-M and Lapua Brass. If you want some target or steel ammo try the Hornady A-Tip in 135 and 153 grain - very high B.C.s.
