Seems like a lot of work to get an aerosol spray lube to work, I will stick to my imperial sizing wax. I had my suspicions about what you said though, and it makes perfect sense. I do believe you hit the nail on the head.

Also I believe one shot is trash. Have had more stuck cases with one shot than any other case lube, and yes I was following instructions. For small caliber rou ds like 223 i still use it, but for anything bigger try imperial sizing wax. Absolutely changed my world.

I have had this with every redding type s die I have used. You have to adjust the die down until it touches the ram at full stroke, and then usually an 1/8th turn more so that your ram actually "cams over". You will not notice a shoulder bump until you do this. My rcbs press is designed to have...

+1 for the shilen select match. Put one on a 340 weatherby that I built. I also have a kreiger that I put on a 220 swift build. The shilen seems higher quality to me. WAY easier to clean. Bore looks smoother. Not sure how much of that is just the chambering, but ultimately I would go for the Shilen.

I have installed a Vias muzzle brake on my 340 as well, and having shot it without it and then with, it makes a huge difference. Make it a habit to bring ear plugs hunting though, just 1 shot can cause substantial damage

I have a 340 weatherby that I built on a 700 action. Stainless barrel, bell and carlson stock that ive bedded, yada yada but I would definitely have to agree with the 250 accubonds. I have had great results with RE22. I have only killed a deer with that load thus far, (the elk did not cooperate...
