I am looking at a ruger gunsight scout rifle in 308. The scope rail is foreford of the action (scout). Can it be moved back to the standard position? Id like to put a night vision scope on it but need to get my eye pretty close. Thanks for the help guys.

Has anybody ever killed Bigg(er) animals like a hog, or deer size with a sub sonic rifle round? What cartridges would best fit this situation? And finaly, in regards to the repot of the gun and sub sonic noise. Once your round reaches the speed of sound you get noise. So, will a round breaking...
