It seems the OP has more experience in the question than lots of people responding.
6.5 Creed is the obvious choice of the cartridges listed for actual PRS/NRL style competition shooting unless a guy wants to run 308 in a tac class which doesn't really apply to NRL.
Would love to see how many...
Exactly and the negative comb Monte Carlo on that Lazzeroni is so far forward I’m not sure my cheek would even reach it if I were square behind the rifle.
Not a must have by any means but if a stock must have a comb, why not use one that smacks you in the face less under recoil? Gunwerks has had it for years and rifle stock makers or at least the market has been too dumb to copy/demand a good design for too long IMO.
I'm a believer that people...
Mine is scheduled to deliver on Monday.
I'm glad UM took this on since the rest of the stock industry has been largely resting on tired rehashed designs. If there was anything I'd change having not shot it, I'd be a little less aggressive with the negative comb and just have a higher comb...
I'd stop burning components and $ and see what they'll do for you on it.
Something is clearly out of spec from your bore scope vid. IMO you did them a solid by burning your time and $ to see if it would shoot acceptably despite being out of spec. It's not shooting how you want, so they should...
Mine fed fine in 6.5x47 and 300 nm. Wasn't butter smooth but was fine. Bolt manipulation was doable but a definite down grade primarily due to location. Balance point was way too far back. Was less stable in prone due to the short radius to front rest. Trigger was workable but a down grade...
Currently it's a tikka with an 18" benchmark #4 6 creedmoor in a KRG bravo but will be in a rokstok once that gets delivered.
Did the 22" 7 SAUM with a ultra 7 for a year and quickly decided that's too **** long with a suppressor for the type of elk hunting i do most.
Seems that the rough edges are breaking in a bit. Have you measured seating depth to the lands at all? Seems its most likely that the groove dia is out of spec but if it shoots good I dont know if that matters?
I haven't but I've thought about it if I needed a rifle to make power factor in NRL hunter - need be be above 2640 FPS w/ a 144 berger and over 2440ish with a 156.
Kind of agree on field unknown distance situations but for known distance where spotting impacts and getting wind calls right...
Maybe I lied. I thought of a cartridge that i think is dumb at least - 6.5-300 weatherby.
26 Nosler was out and already to the point of "stupid overbore" but weatherby comes out with something that has the same case capacity but instead of the nice case design of the nosler it uses an...
