    so frustrated.

Have you tried using a stuck case removing tool. Both Hornady and Redding make them. Unless you tried to muscle the stuck cases out with a pair of pliers, etc. the dies should still be okay. I also use Redding FL resizing dies. They recommend that the die be set up so that the reloading...

Seating Depth 30 cal 180gr. Barnes TTSX

I talked to Barne's this morning. They stated that the bands showing or not showing has no relevancy to accuracy. All other reloading truisms about seating depth still hold.

Seating Depth 30 cal 180gr. Barnes TTSX

I would agree with you. I worked up some dummy loads .050" off the lands as a starting point. I am using a Kimber 8400. That put the nominal OAL at 2.88 and has one band exposed. The Barne's manual says COAL as 2.825 but their website also recommends loading off the lands between .030 to...

Seating Depth 30 cal 180gr. Barnes TTSX

I just decided to load-up some 300WSMs with the 180 grain Barnes tipped TTSX bullet. Using the load data in their latest reloading book and using the C.O.A.L for the MRX bullet at 2.825"(appears to be similar design with plastic tip) the first driving band of the bullet (toward the tip) is fully...

    Redding T-7

I have been using it since it first came out. Have also purchased 5 additional turrets for various calibers. Excellent quality - I would highly recommend. If you have any doubts call up Sinclair's. They also highly recommend it. Good luck

    300WSM / RL19 / Barnes Tipped TSX 180 gr.

GlennRMX & DaveWilson - I appreciate your posts. I will let you know how my loading ladder goes. It will obviously encompass a wide range of R19 possibles. I will initially step through the Barne's recommended loading in .5 increments. It's a shame that the 6mmbr.com 300wsm compendium is not...

    300WSM / RL19 / Barnes Tipped TSX 180 gr.

No one suggested they are not. Was there a load recommendation there?

    300WSM / RL19 / Barnes Tipped TSX 180 gr.

davewilson - no offence intended. I querried the BC hoping to gain additional info on the 180 gr bullet and load That would still provide pointer information. You know as well as I do that certain powder / bullet / caliber combinations have sweet spots rather than the whole loading range...

    300WSM / RL19 / Barnes Tipped TSX 180 gr.

Thanks - I actually have the Barne's reloading manual. I was hoping to receive recommended loads which would help be avoid doing a complete loading ladder for this combination and focus more into a sweet spot range.

    300WSM / RL19 / Barnes Tipped TSX 180 gr.

I'm confused . Asking about recommended loads with R19 / 300WSM and TTSX 180 gr bullets and I am getting reports and recommendations on other bullets and weights. Start your own thread. Hopefully someone has used this combination and will share their experience. Someone must use this...

What are the BCs - what load did you develop - and how did it group?

    redding competition dies, "bushings".

Best way to get your answer is to call Redding and ask for tech support. Excellent people to talk to. Jay usually answers the phone - very knowledgeable. They are all very patient and will walk you through the whole process. I have had excellent results with the die. Good luck -

going to start loading, thinking about presses.

This is what I use: Redding T-7 Turret Press. Not self indexing very precise. For load work-up of pistol cartridges and all rifle reloading. Pistol cartridges in mass - Dillon 650 progressive with case feeder. I can easily do 600 45 ACPs an hour. Also check out Uniquetek.com for the...

Help - almost out of Rem 7 1/2 primers

Thanks for the suggestion but Cabellas is about 40 to 45 dollars more expensive per 5000. Should be able to pick them up between 115 and 120 per 5m. Cabellas wanted +/- 31 per thousand. Also when I went by the local Cabellas they were out. Seems like handloading has taken off big time since...
