    Stock bedding question

I bed a bit forward. This shows the clay bedding block and the piece of plastic that I used to raise the barrel for the first step of casting the lug support.

Your going your hunt of a lifetome what are you hunting and what rifle are you using ? Mine is easy

The rifle was an earlier version of my much-modified 308 "deer gun" whose only remaining original part is the Remington Action. After several seasons of threading by flashlight a "top-off" into the internal magazine to replace the round chambered after safely entering my blind, organizing my...

Your going your hunt of a lifetome what are you hunting and what rifle are you using ? Mine is easy

Best tasting deer I have shot was a “deer-of-the-year” whose size was hidden because his head and heart were on one side of a large tree and his give-away tail on the other side of the tree. 180-grain 308 Accubond destroyed his heart and bled him out by by the time I walked the 60-yards up to...

Your going your hunt of a lifetome what are you hunting and what rifle are you using ? Mine is easy

I may be removed for this, but down deep some of y’all might agree…how about a hunting stand on a border property whose owner is fed up with “traffic issues”, property damage, and just plain old-fashioned fear from the coyote’s perpetually climbing or cutting through the big fence for human or...

Too bad that they are no longer made. Smooth action; mine still has the original stock and I solved the problem of interfering iron sights and sunshade. I shot my first bison with it.

Your going your hunt of a lifetome what are you hunting and what rifle are you using ? Mine is easy

At 79, my dream hunt is another 8-point, or bigger, buck at a TN wildlife Management Area on public land. My buddy and I hunt hard in November. My favorite hunting rifle is a self-bedded and self-Cerakoted 308 Remington with a Brownells 20-inch barrel installed by a gunsmith. The deer was...

    Worth reloading for gas guns?

The circular primer handling system in the 650 works just fine. I prefer it to the cheap 750 system with the movable spring-loaded rod that likes to jump off the runners"

    What would you do?

I wish that I could be hunting elk at long range, but 300 Norma Magnum is my favorite cartridge that I am getting into. Working up a load for Hornady's AL-tipped 250-grain bullets which I acquired on sale. Had to machine Dillon’s attempt at a 338 Lapua shellplate and have been waiting 2-years...
