No it doesn't screw off like some breaks do. It will come off but you would have to ask JP about the removal procedure. I think it's made to be permanent unless you wanted to remove & recrown or something like that.

Anyone have a rem 700 H.S take off in a SA ADL? Not sure if they made the Sendero's in ADL but I think the LSV & LSVF are ADL. I would need a varmint or heavy contour barrel channel.

I am looking for a H.S precision stock for a remington 700sa in bdl or adl, but i prefer adl . It is a heavy barrel contour. It can be a take off stock & doesn't have to be perfect but I would like to find one in decent shape @ a reasonable price.

I am not out in the field to waste my free time so I personally would not use a .22 mag. Like you said sure you can kill one with it but your looking at a 50/50 kill ratio especially past 100yds. Head or heart shots would definitely kill one but, they are sometimes tough to shoot standing still...
