Back about twenty years ago, I had a FA 83 with a 7 1/2 inch barrel in 454 Casull. It had a 2x7 Burris scope on it and nobody ever that gun it wasn't a rifle. My standard load was 300 gr Cast with 32 gr of WW 296 with SRM primers. Very accurate...

I use mils, because it just easier. I don't have to do all the math that I had to do with MOA.
