I have the non-adjustable, so keep that in mind. I use about 3/4" padding to get a good cheek weld with the Vortex 3-18x50. Could probably get the scope lower with different rings, but as it is, I have about 8-9mm clearance to the barrel, which is more or less a sendero contour. My next mcmillan...
