Im not dead set on a BR its just whats in my price range as of rite now. I like everything about the swfa scopes except there only in a 50mm and only go to a 20 power objective.

If you have access to a good set of calipers measure you OAL of both rounds and write it down. Sounds like a pressure or head spacing issue to me.

I always size my brass. You mite get away with not sizing brass in a smaller caliber auto pistol even then Id be skeptical myself.

Ive got several good reloading books ive used for a long time. But none of them have any information on 338 lapua loads. Im also looking for a book with 308 loads for a gas operated rifle ar rifle. Just wonderin what useful books you guys out there have found for these loads.

I dont clean mine after every time i go shooting. I always wipe the barrel down and pull the bolt out and clean it. Unless Im sighting it in or trying a new round I loaded than I swab the barrel every shot.

Bore snakes are great if you just want a quick easy swab of the barrel but I think if you want a good cleaning you have to use a brush and patch.
