    I just bought a lathe to make my on barrels I looking at twisting the steel before drilling out the bore I shoot 6.5x300 love it . Getting 2400 rounds before replacing it. Shooting 138 grain. I want see what a 32 inch barrel will do. When I start the build in January I post some pictures.

    25-08 or 25-284

    I would go with 25-08, I think just as u start liking the 25.-284 u have to change the barrel out again. I like the feel and know the gun as she performing and 25.-08 has to be practical this day and age.

    30-06 can still get it done

    Nice calipier 06 have a huntsman grandfather in caliper. I inherited the gun. I think longest shot was 763 yds.I was told by him the gun doesn't make a hunter the hunter makes the gun. He was so true. 06 is a caliper most calipers try to top. Some have some still can't beat. Happy hunting
