I bought the sps in 22-250 from Dick's Sporting goods they have a big sale every spring on the varmint specials with a scope on them.I replaced the scope sighted it in, it produces .5 groups @100 with no bedding so I see no problem with them.

The guy I just talked to in town said they are down to 4 22-250's here in town sold out all other calibers.I replaced my 1967 22-250 in Remington 700 with this one wanted the heavy barrel niether one has disappointed me yet.
